Is my API key safe?
Keys stay in your browser and are only sent to the provider with each request.
Your keys are saved in your browser's storage, tied to your Google account. They are never saved in our database.
When you send a message, the key travels with that one request through our server to the provider's official address, and nowhere else. Our server only ever calls the provider addresses built into the app, never an address sent from the browser. Keys are never written to logs.
Good habits
- Create a separate key just for MultiScreenAI, so you can revoke it on its own.
- Set a monthly spending limit in each provider's dashboard.
- Remove keys from shared computers in API keys when you are done.
