Who TypingMind is for

TypingMind is a chat interface you buy once with a license and use with your own API keys; it does not sell API credits. It also offers a self-hosted version for teams. If you want a single chat app you own outright, it is a solid choice.

How MultiScreenAI is different

  • Every AI at once. Up to six panels on one screen, each its own chat with its own model. Send one message to all of them, pass an answer to another model to check, or merge them into one.
  • No license to buy. The workspace costs nothing right now. A paid Pro plan is planned; what Pro includes explains it.
  • Each model's own tools. Claude's web search and code execution with downloadable files, Gemini's Google Search, and image models from OpenAI, Google and xAI.

Do both use my own API keys?

Yes. Neither sells model credits; you pay each provider directly. In MultiScreenAI the keys stay in your browser.

Do I have to install anything?

No. Sign in with Google in the browser. You can also install it as an app from the browser menu.

Can I export my chats?

Yes, as Markdown, and code in an answer downloads as a file or a zip.
